It’s not to thick , it is super light! I used crochet all the way around. I tried to do individual around the front but they are to thin to stick the needle through it ..it just messed it up .. unless you want to braid your hair super small lol my hair is to thick for little braids . But these are beautiful and I hope they last long…. I’ll update inna few weeks . Oh and I used about 4 packs . And a little from the other packs because some of the locs were not looped well and came all the way apart as soon as I pulled the crochet through

to all me fellow black women, Buy them. You can totally do your own faux locs and save hundreds. The hair is soft and you get the hair look in a fraction of the time. The locs are durable. I’ve removed and reinstalled it since receiving my bundles. I began with a crochet method but found that to be heavy. Converting to individuals with a bit of hair wrapped around the top of the loc to cover my natural hair was a breeze. I had two bundles left over. To combat small loops you will need to gently massage the hair in a downward motion and that will help you gain more space to manipulate.They are sweat resilient and okay to work out in. They can withstand being secured in a hair tie. The locs get better with time and I get compliments daily. Do it!!
